(Devon on the other hand was surprised na pumayag ang kanyang Daddy na may manligaw sa kanya. She felt that her Kuya Enchong ay napilitan lang na sumang-ayon dahil sa Daddy nila and Sam? Well, he hadn’t talked to her after nitong magwalked out. They still go to school together but he’s too cold towards her kaya guilty na tuloy sya. She wanted somebody’s advice pero wala syang masabihan dahil nga ni isa walang alam sa totoong estado nila. Of course Phytos knew na hindi sila talaga magkapatid ni Sam nakikisakay lang ito sa drama nila sa University but she couldn’t tell him na boyfriend nya si Sam. Hindi naman sya pwedeng magconfide sa kanyang bestfriend dahil hindi pa talaga sya handa but hindi naman ganun ka insensitive si Yen na hindi sila napapansin ni Sam na walang bangayan but never did she tell the truth. )
(Ngayon kadarating lang nila sa University, agad na bumaba si Yen sa kotse)
YEN: Mauna na ako sa inyo…see you later guys…
(nakita naman ni Devon na naghahanda na rin si Sam na bumaba ng kotse pero pinigilan nya ito)
DEVON: Galit ka ba sa akin?
SAM: Let’s not talk about it Devz, malapit na magstart ang klase baka ma late pa tayo…
DEVON: Look! I’m sorry… It’s my mistake masyado lang akong selosa… (umiyak na sya at hindi napigilan ang sarili)
SAM: Oh shit!!! Please don’t cry alam mo naman na ayaw na ayaw kong nakikita kang umiiyak dahil dobleng sakit ang nararamdaman ko.
DEVON: You’re being cold to me kasi ehh….
SAM: I’m just jealous kasi si Phytos binigyan ni Tito Dennis ng right na ligawan ka…samantalang ako? Alam mo bang sayo lang ako kumukuha ng lakas para kayanin ko ang lahat ng ito pero nakipag cool-off ka pa sa akin.
DEVON: I’m sorry na..promise di na agad ako magseselos…
SAM: Bastidin mo na rin si Phytos, pinapaasa mo lang yung tao sayo. He’s a good guy pero you’re mine Devz at walang makakaagaw sayo sa akin.
DEVON: Napakapossessive mo pala! (kinurot nya si Sam pero agad syang niyakap nito, the next thing they knew they already kissed. Nadadala na si Devon kung hindi lang tumigil si Sam)
SAM: Let’s go to our classes baka ma late pa tayo…
DEVON: Tama ka…

(One Friday cancelled lahat ng class dahil may meeting lahat ng Professors for the upcoming sportsfest of the University. Yen told them that she’ll be going to her hometown dahil miss na nito ang parents. Hindi na nila hinatid ito sa bus station baka pagkaguluhan pa si Sam. It’s their chance to spend time together na mahaba-mahaba. Aaron and Alex are having a week leave from the University dahil may mall show ang mga ito. Ayaw naman ni Sam na magpunta kung saan with Devon baka kung ano pa ang sabihin ng mga paparazzi if he will be spotted with her fake sister. The place that came into his mind was Alex’s house. He has keys to his bestfriend’s house kaya he could go there anytime. So he brought Devon there)
DEVON: Kaninong bahay ito?
SAM: Kina Alex…(hindi alam ni Sam kung bakit kinakabahan sya siguro this is the first time na sila lang talaga ni Devon ang magkasama na malayo ang mga taong kinakatakutan nya)
DEVON: Why you brought me here? (she looked at him innocently pero kabado talaga siya) Are you ok? Para kasing kinakabahan ka…
SAM: No..no..ano nga ulit yung tanong mo?
DEVON: Bakit mo ako dinala dito? Para kasing walang ibang tao dito maliban sa atin…hindi ba haunted house ito? Baka may mga multo dito…(natawa tuloy siya sa sinabi ni Devon)
SAM: Kailan pa lumabas ang multo sa ganitong oras? (Devon looked at him closely while they were sitting in the couch and said)
DEVON: You’re terribly attractive…
(She didn’t know why her pulse racing faster while staring at Sam. He stared into her eyes, then at her mouth, then at the halo of her long straight hair. Devon feel herself begin to blush. She heard Sam uttered)
SAM: Damn it!
(His gazed raked her and she’s conscious enough that he was looking right through her uniform. Her fear increased but then she looked into his eyes and saw how much his inlove with her.)
DEVON: Sam?? (she looked up at him but couldn’t utter any words except his name)
SAM: Shit Devz! You’re driving me crazy…
(hindi alam ni Devon ang gagawin para syang ipinako at hindi sya makagalaw. She saw Sam tense and uneasy)
SAM: Oh God! Damn it!
(He choked and suddenly his arms closed around her. The devil in him was elated, the saint all but gone. Abruptly, he had her in his arms, was carrying her to the bed. He dipped Devon onto the bed, her long black hair flowing over his hands. Sam straddled her, for just a moment overwhelmed by her beauty, while painfully aware of the close-to-bursting pressure in him. He moved his arms underneath her, lifting her slightly and their gazes met)
SAM: Devz??
(He kissed her passionately. He felt something strong and bright and irrevocable rushed through him-an emotion he could not stop to identify. She responded to him. He gripped her face between his palms. Their gazes met, hers bright and feverish)
SAM: I can’t stop…(He whispered. Their gazes met again but Devon suddenly sobbed. He panicked, touched her, held her, closed his eyes and very tense)
DEVON: Don’t stop…(She whispered. He kissed her with all the explosive emotion he has feeling, swiftly finishing what he had begun.)
(Teenagers as they are, inlove at mapupusok kaya hindi maiiwasan na makagawa ng isang bagay na beyond boundaries. After what had happened they were lying on the bed)
SAM’S POV: Oh God! What have I done? (he was touching Devon’s hair, she’s sleeping) You bastard! You lousy- no good bastard! (tinapik nya ang kanyang ulo. He felt Devon slowly opening her eyes. Their eyes met, she smiled at him)
DEVON: Sam?
(nakita nyang nakatitig lang sa kanya si Sam at hindi ito nagsasalita kaya naman naguguluhan sya at kinakabahan pagkatapos ng nangyari sa kanila. She just loved him that much kaya niya ibinigay ang sarili dito. Nang hindi pa rin nagsalita si Sam)
DEVON: Sam? Is something wrong?
(She trembled, the question there in her eyes, and with it the fear. Sam sat up and pulled her into his arms, holding her tight)
SAM: No Devz..Eveything’s fine. Just fine. (He pressed her face to his chest, cupping the back of her head, his fingers tangled her straight black hair. Sam closed his eyes)
SAM’S POV: I betrayed my brother’s trust…I betrayed my parents…
(Devon felt something was wrong and terrified of what might happen next. Sam stared at her)
SAM: I owe you an apology. Devon this should not have happened. An apology sounds trite considering what we just did. I mean what I just did.
(akala ni Devon kung ano na, sinisisi lang pala nito ang sarili sa nangyari, she felt relieved and cried)
DEVON: No..You don’t need to apologize..(She whispered. Her eyes filled with tears and sobbed)
SAM: Don’t cry… God! The last thing I want to do is make you cry..(He came closer at her, took her hand and kissed her)
Pahinga muna tayo sandali and we’ll go home after…ok?... (tumango nalang si Devon at yumakap kay Sam and they fell asleep with smile on their faces)
